How often I Exfoliate?

Does Drinking Water Help Dry Skin or Just Make More Bathroom Runs?

This is not to discourage drinking loads of water. Water consumption is necessary for brain function, energy, digestion and body temperature regulation. But we are not like plants. When we consume water it does not go straight to our skin, but travels to our intestines, gets absorbed in our bloodstream, is  filtered by our kidneys and then hydrates our cells. So drinking more water is not the solution for dry skin.
Your skin type is customarily decided by your genes. And that natural moisture barrier level vacillates on what your skin's protective lipid barrier ( keeps moisture in ) is exposed to. Think of how your face feels after a day of skiing in cold, dry and windy conditions. CHAPPED ! Minimize exposure to any elements that could deplete your lipid barrier, such as harsh winds, low humidity, dry heat , sun and alcohol ( that one is difficult ).
